RollCam LLC (“RollCam”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates https://rollcam.com, the RollCam mobile application, and RollCam-installed tablet kiosks located in participating gyms (collectively, the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information You Provide

When using a RollCam tablet or interacting with our website or app, you may provide:

  • Phone number (for SMS video delivery)
  • Email address (if voluntarily provided)
  • Information submitted through contact forms

Video Content

RollCam allows users to record training sessions inside participating gyms. These recordings are user-generated content.

Users retain ownership of their recorded video content. RollCam does not claim ownership of user recordings.

By using the Service, you grant RollCam a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your video content solely for the purpose of operating and delivering the Service.

Usage Data

We may automatically collect technical information such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device identifiers
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • App usage statistics

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Deliver recorded videos via SMS link
  • Operate and maintain the Service
  • Improve product functionality
  • Monitor system performance and prevent abuse
  • Provide customer support
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

3. SMS Communications

By entering your phone number on a RollCam tablet, you consent to receive a one-time SMS message containing a secure link to your recorded video. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier.

RollCam does not use collected phone numbers for recurring marketing messages unless explicit consent is separately obtained.

4. Video Storage and Retention

Recorded videos are currently stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

At this time, videos are stored until deleted by RollCam or removed as part of future retention policy updates. We may implement automated retention limits (e.g., 90 days) in the future.

Users are encouraged to download their recordings after receipt.

5. Payments

Payments for subscriptions and hardware deposits are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. RollCam does not store or process credit card information directly.

6. Data Sharing

We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers solely for operating the Service, including:

  • Cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS)
  • SMS delivery providers
  • Payment processors (Stripe)
  • Analytics providers (if used)

These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard data and use it only for Service-related purposes.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children and Minors

RollCam tablets are located within independently operated gyms. Some gyms may serve minors.

Responsibility for obtaining parental consent for participation in gym activities and recording policies rests with the gym operator. RollCam acts solely as a technology provider and does not supervise or control gym operations.

RollCam does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children outside of phone numbers voluntarily entered for video delivery.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

10. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to certain processing activities
  • Request data portability
